Luxury Pet Sitting & Positive Reinforcement Dog Training Specializing in Early Canine Education
Hi, my name is Charlie Marie. I provide in person canine development training as well as remote coaching for puppies and older dogs. I also offer premium pet sitting services, both daily and overnight, in Austin, Tx and surrounding cities for those who want the very best care with the flexibility for customized care plans. Last but not least, I have at maximum two spots at any given time in my home-based Puppy Boarding School program. This program provides a complete and critical foundation for puppies around 8 to 10 weeks of age to prepare for continued education to be practically perfect pets or assistance/working/ service dogs.
With an education in science-based dog training techniques and a lifetime of having pets and being devoted to animal rescue, I bring a rare combination of maternal instinct, professional structure, and proven yet compassionate behavioral expertise to my work with dogs.

A Foundation Built on Early Development
My journey into professional dog training began in 2021 when I fostered and hand-raised two puppies from the day they were born. As they matured, I learned they were Belgian Malinois — an intelligent, high-drive working breed that requires exceptional guidance, structure, and mental engagement. Raising and training working dog puppies from birth revealed just how critical early development truly is. After studying Dr. Ian Dunbar’s science-based training methods, I came to deeply understand the importance of the 8–18 week developmental window, when lifelong behaviors, emotional regulation, and social skills are formed.
This discovery reshaped my work. While older dogs can absolutely improve and change, a dog’s future is largely shaped during this early period. The choices made — or missed — during puppyhood prior to 4 or 5 months can determine safety, friendly confidence, and reliability.

Why My Work is Different
For puppy coaching and training, I believe in starting as soon as possible, not just with auto shaping, conditioning, socializing, and desensitization, but also with potty training, bite inhibition and commands. I taught my two Belgian Malinois mixes to sit and lay down at only 4 weeks of age! Trusting that young puppies can learn, and using the correct approach to training can help them meet training goals sooner and more easily. Conversely, a lack of early training between 8 and 18 weeks is a recipe for disaster. Some may try to blame this on genetics or personality, when in reality, any and every puppy is capable of being a well-trained dog!
As for pet sitting, I offer the safety, reliability and professionalism of incorporated sitting agencies, except with the flexibility to customize care with consideration to the individual needs of each pet as well as their human's personal desires for their beloved pets' comfort and expectations. I also offer complementary certified dog massages with no charge for additional pets!
Unlike traditional kennel-style board-and-train facilities, I offer a holistic, in-home approach that significantly reduces stress, health risks, and emotional overwhelm.
• Puppies are raised in a calm, structured home
• Individual attention and real-life learning
• Limited enrollment (only 1–2 puppies at a time)
• Customized care plans based on each dog’s needs and goals
My work is intentionally small, deeply personal, and focused on prevention rather than correction.

PHILOSOPHY, SERVICES & MISSION
Why Bite Inhibition Matters
Dogs are biologically designed to bite. Even the most well-behaved dog may bite if frightened, injured, or overwhelmed. The goal of proper training is not to eliminate biting entirely, but to ensure that if a bite ever occurs, it does not cause injury.
This requires very specific techniques that guide a puppy’s behavior without fear or punishment. When bite inhibition is taught correctly during puppyhood, dogs learn to control the strength of their bite—a skill that can quite literally save a dog’s life by preventing serious injury and reducing the risk of court-ordered euthanasia following a bite incident.
This is preventable. There is no reason for a dog to lose their life over something that can be taught early through gentle guidance and proper canine communication.

A Calm, Structured Home Environment
My teenage daughter and I live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood near Austin, Texas. Our home is intentionally designed to support calm behavior, learning, and emotional safety.
• Dedicated cozy puppy bedroom with crates, enrichment toys, and training props
• Classical music and natural calming supports such as essential oils
• Nutritious, home-prepared meals and healthy treats that support brain development
• Enrichment activities, supervised outdoor time, and water play
• Puppies sleep in crates next to my bed and are gradually introduced to independence
Dogs are never left outside unsupervised.

Rescue & Community Commitment
I proudly support rescue efforts and offer discounted or donated services for rescued animals. Foster families, rescue volunteers, and adopters are always welcome to reach out for support.
I offer a 50% discount on coaching services for anyone who adopts a pet rather than purchasing one.
My long-term vision includes expanding this work into therapy dog training and creating a healing retreat where rescued animals are trained to support people coping with trauma, stress, and emotional challenges.
⸻
My Mission
My mission is to keep dogs safely and happily with their original families for life, and out of the shelter system—or worse.
Too many dogs are surrendered or euthanized due to preventable behavioral issues that could have been addressed early with proper guidance. Every puppy deserves the opportunity to become a confident, friendly, trusted family member—and every dog lover deserves a healthy, lifelong bond with their dog.
